Sesame Place and Scrap Fit Kick the Winter Blues entry

I love the bright colors I used for this LO of Sesame Place. The challenge at ScrapFit was to use green, orange, yellow, and white. Yup got them all. I really felt that because of the brightness and large patterns of this paper from We R Memory Keepers it really needed the white space to balance it out. I borrowed the Sesame Street ABC cartridge from a friend to cut the letters in the title and the Elmo and Big Bird die cuts. I cut the sun and cloud from Simply Charmed and gave them Peach Keen doll faces. I thought the title was very clever if I do say so myself. I also used a few coordinating We R Memory Keeper chipboard stickers to embellish the page. The paper used for the journaling box came from the SU celebrations designer series pack.

I turned of all the lights in my scrap room except the overheads (it would have been pitch black without) but I still couldn't get rid of the glare on my photos. It's too bad because they are really beautiful shots of the Sesame Street parade.

  4. Such cute papers for this layout and color scheme. I always hate the glare from the lights. sometimes I end up with 15 bad pictures and finally give up, so I know how you feel! Super cute page, though! Thanks for working out at ScrapFIT!
